Building for the Future
How does the programme work?
- Our highly qualified and experienced coaches come into the school during curriculum time to offer Year 2 children ball-skills and hand-eye coaching
- The coaches work with the children in 1-hour sessions once-per-week for 4 weeks
- 2 coaches usually come to each session and with the help of the class teacher are able to give the children lots of individual help
- All children are encouraged, and we pay particular attention the ones who find it the most difficult
- Subsidised exit routes are provided for every single child. This will include opportunities such as after-school clubs, taster sessions at the tennis centre and free Mini Tennis lessons
- Talented children are offered the opportunity to join our Tennis Academy
- Eevery child who joins our coaching programme is offered excellent advancement opportunities
