The Southampton Community Tennis Centre worka closely with Southampton School-Sports Partnership to deliver curriculum coaching and competition to around 2900 children in 27 infant, junior and primary schools in the area surrounding Southampton Sports Centre.

The main part of our work is to deliver to School Years 2 and 3, providing every single child with 4 hours of tennis coaching. We also deliver one-day festivals for whole schools and work with Year 2-6.

Every child is offered a free session as an exit route to sessions at the Sports Centre, whilst a small number are identified as talented from each class and offered access to highly subsidised sessions.
