Mini Tennis Orange Tournament
4 children from Fleming Park Tennis Centre competed in the Mini Tennis Orange tourament held at the centre on 19th July 2008: Liam Doyle, Lewis Eades, Charlie Hennen and Daniel Brown. Well done to all of them!
Clash of the Clubs
On Saturday 17th May 2007, the Fleming Park Tennis Centre hosted the first ever Hampshire & IOW Clash of the Clubs at Mini Tennis Red level. 36 children from 18 clubs around the county competed in the event, which was eventually won by Portsmouth Tennis Academy. Totton & Eling Tennis Centre came a close second with the inexperienced Fleming Park team performing very well to finish mid-table.
Rebranding
As you may have noticed, the Fleming Park Tennis Centre is currently going through a rebranding exercise including fresh and original logo designs, a facelift for the website and exciting new marketing literature. The project has only been possible due to the unbelievable work of Totton & Eling Tennis Centre member, Andy King, who has undertaken the whole exercise in his personal time and without charging the tennis centre for his services. We extend our heart-felt thanks to Andy and his company Catalyst Design & Marketing.
British Tennis Membership
All of our members are entitled to a free subscription to British Tennis, the LTA's new membership scheme. This scheme will supercede all existing memberships, including Advantage Club, and thus every single Totton & Eling member should sign up whether currently an LTA subscriber or not. The form takes less than 30 seconds to fill out. In the future LTA benefits such as Wimbledon Ticket ballots will only be open to British Tennis members, therefore, it really is worth signing up. And don't forget that it is totally free!
